The Dawn of Christmas

Only the person who experienced atrocities in a concentration camp, and who faced the inevitability of painful death with it’s preceeding agonies would understand the joy, hope, and gratitude that would blaze from the spirit at the sight of their rescuer–who came to fetch them at the 11th hour from the certainty of unending cruelties. Only people of similar experience will understand the love the person would then carry in their heart for the rescuing soldier and the government who sent them! Only the people who long to be free from this camp of horrors would understand these inner sentiments.

In a much greater way is the month of December situated. Only the person longing to be free, striving to be free, and who carries the burning desire for eternity and everlasting peace within will look with love and gratitude at the Mission of Jesus, the One who came to rescue through the Word. Through the lifebelt offered in His Words, a path reopened for the possibility of mankind to achieve their eternal longings.

This month is not about family, not about friends, not about gifts, commercialism etc. No. It is about the Mission of the Son of God. It is about the Love of God that comes to man in the Word of Truth that shows how man can be rescued.

In this month we shift our focus to the Love of God and nothing else, with gratitude in our hearts.

Have a blessed month.
