The music of joy

Knowledge is the instrument, joy is the music. Sometimes we can marvel at the instrument so long, we forget how the music sounds. Holding the instrument in our hands, we forget to play it. What we are left with is a shiny tool, but no music. When people see this instrument they expect sweet sounds, but when we play they hear a cacophony. All because we confused holding the magic with the activity of producing it. It is not the instrument that conquers and subdues, but the music the artist produces through it.

For this reason, we need to play to uncover the treasure trove hidden within this tool. The sweet music, the infinite abiding joy.
