Searching the heart

If you search your heart seriously, you will admit we often have the “desire to become new”, but are often lacking in the impetus and seriousness needed to comprehensively transform ourselves, so that every minute desire and thought swings in this new. We have become so self-complacent that even Truth alone is not enough to galvanize us to undertake this rebirth.

Once you concede this, you will then see why challenges in life today can be a great blessing. Those situations where we are at a loss to help ourselves, where we are pushed to the limit of our endurance, pressured to the precipice of cracking, and compelled to see the depth of the darkness still lurking inconspicuously in the crevices of our soul. These experiences create a crisis where we are compelled to seek fervently for light, to think deeper, to implore for new insights, to discover new paths for action, and thus to change ourselves inwardly. In the attitude of seeking these hours offer the chance to attain is our pathway to Truth and real change.

The world today is hellish because the condition of our souls are hellish. So no one should feel comfortable “the way they are”, because we all need to change, have to change. Hence what we call trials are actually the Hand of Love that is stretched forth to help “arouse us from sleep”, so new power for real change can awaken for action.
