Envy

Within envy is the silent assumption that one’s lot in life is inadequate and less capable of bringing about supreme happiness as compared to another. Within this notion is the feeling of unfairness and injustice by the Universe in someway. However, within the notion of unfairness is the belief in error for the apportioning of one’s faulty lot in life. In this belief is the presumption that one is wiser than the Universe and It’s Creator, and thus knows what is better for one‘s own development and lasting happiness. In this presumption there is an outright defiance and rebellion against reality.

Hence envy is really a manifestation of the effrontery, presumption, arrogance and ignorance of the human spirit against the Perfect mechanism of Universal Justice in Life. It reflects an immaturity and lack of knowledge. However, since envy is so widespread among us men on earth today…you can then see how we reveal our true spiritual condition and thus openly sentence ourselves.
