Longings of the spirit

The desires of the intellect screams, but the longings of the spirit whispers. In this whisper, we alone must bear the onus of attuning in order to listen to its soft impartations.

For the spirit never battles against competing desires, nor does it chase after, endlessly repeat itself or cater to doubts. No. It demands full undivided attention, and just remains silent whenever the dueling clamor gets obnoxious and loud. In this coolness, it waits in the regal dignity of its nature to be pursued and completely committed to. It does not compromise, but demands complete obedience.

It becomes silent when chatter increases, and increases when chatter becomes silent. With spirit it is all or nothing.
