Weapons fashioned against me

As you grow older, you realize the most dangerous weapons repeatedly fashioned against you are not from others; but those you constantly fashion against yourself through your faults, misconceptions, mistakes and stubbornness. Thus one prays for guidance and protection against the lower tendencies and limitations in my own soul from hindering the path of my own happiness and thereby obstructing others in a similar pursuit. Once this is achieved, all other weapons fashioned by others will crumble before this ironclad shield of inner conquest. May this come to pass.
